It All Begins HereBuilding a Summer Event Brand
Summer Squeeze was a self-directed concept exercise to build a full brand identity for a community summer event the kind of local, public gathering that lives or dies on how well its visual identity grabs people's attention and gets them in the door. Without a real client or event to design around, the goal was to build a complete identity from scratch that felt fun, inviting, and unmistakably summer.
Full brand identity from the ground up, covering logo and core identity, posters and flyers, signage, and merchandise. The visual direction leaned fully into a fun, playful, summery feel. Bright and energetic enough to work as street-level signage and flyers, while still feeling cohesive enough to extend onto merch people would actually want to wear.
This was a concept exercise rather than a produced event, but it stands as a showcase of full-identity thinking for an experiential/event context building a brand that has to work across posters, signage, and merch alike, all while capturing the feeling of a single summer day.
